Inspirations

What a busy week this has been...at work we were notified that we are "the chosen one" to beta new processes for our company which means that we get the frequent visits from our corporation. We were in good shape before but now have to be perfect or as close to it as possible and it has created "pressure" needless to say. But, raising the bar is never a bad thing!

In my brain fried state I was able to find inspiration this week with wonderful creations and challenges from the talented people at Deco-Pages.com. Thank goodness that I have this release! Just check out some of what I have done: Using a brand new kit Sunrise Polka, from RoseMadeDesigns I created these two pages:

I just love her kit! I found it incredibly easy to use and loved it for my Daisee Mae as well as for my dear grandson. They are both so precious to me and her kit has helped me to capture those feelings. With the flexibility of the colors in the kit it didn't even matter that I added some of the pinks to a boy page. You can find this kit here: http://www.deco-pages.com/product.php?productid=18420&cat=373&page=2. You can find her store here: http://www.deco-pages.com/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=8&sort=add_date&sort_direction=1&page=1

The majority of the family are boys and with nine children in the family right now Sharon Craven's Lil Buddies kit was absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better kit!
I just love the little teddy bear and she has perfect elements in it for little girls too! You can find her kit here: http://www.deco-pages.com/product.php?productid=17858&cat=0&page=1 and her store here: http://www.deco-pages.com/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=39&sort=add_date&sort_direction=1&page=1

And then I also found Family Ties by Jen Hanson an inspiring kit to work with. With her wonderful word art and variety of pieces it was fun to work with! Just look at how cute my pages turned out!

I just love this kit! You can find Family Ties here: http://www.deco-pages.com/product.php?productid=17974&cat=0&page=1 and Jens store here: http://www.deco-pages.com/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=9&sort=add_date&sort_direction=1&page=1

There is a new Greeting Card Challenge over at Deco-Pages.com that just started this month and the theme is St. Patrick's Day. I have never created a greeting card on my own without the use of American Greetings so this was fun to do and so inspiring. Look at the cards I made with the starter kit Lori Staton created for it:

I can't wait to get these printed out and mailed to my family and friends. How fun this was. You can find the challenge here: http://board.deco-pages.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4894

Thanks for stopping by!
