Little Chatter & A Freebie

Very little chatter as I woke up with a horrible headache...one of those borderline migrane ones...my eyes are all swollen. It's really yuky. But I promsied a freebie today and so here is the first one. Pink painted metal swirls. They coordinate with DigiSkrapNMomma's Chocolate Covered Cherries kit. Whoo Hoo! It's Friday! Time for the weekend :) We're supposed to have snow again Sunday after a 70 something day today, good grief! I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind, I am so ready for Spring!!!!

American Idol sure was a shocker last night! I can't believe that Michael is gone! I was surprised all the way around with the bottom three, they weren't at all what I had expected. This season the contestants are so talented that it is going to be interesting from here on out!

I scrapped a page of my dawg, Daisie. I ran the sweeper and she hates it when I run the sweeper so she stays right in front of me the whole time I run it and she tells me how much she dislikes it! Literally she talks to me about it with her wooo, wooo, wooo. I have never had a dog that is as verbal as she is. I don't know if it is common with standard poodles to be so vocal, I know that it isn't a characteristic of Golden Retrievers. (She is a Golden Doodle) All I know is that she talks back more than my kids did when they were growing up. She is so funny. I used It's A Dog's Life Kit by Designs by CAZ of Deco Pages for the page. I am missing my DGS today and so I went through my pictures from this time last year and found a couple really cute ones of him. He was exploring my backyard and just barely walking so most of the time he was crawling around in the grass. I used the kit Chocolate Covered Cherries by DigiSkrapNMomma for this page and she used it for a QP give away on her blog. She currently has a new QP that she is giving away so if you like to use QP's for something easy when you have a photo you want to use but limited time...they are perfect. Designer's Choice Awards Contest

There is a brand new challenge/contest at Deco Pages! The designer will choose 3 pages out of the entries and then post a poll. Everyone can vote for their favorite of the chosen 3. The two runners up get a New kit by Deb Ammerman and the winner gets a choice of a new Design Team Brag Book or a free month of Club Deco. What a fun contest! I created a page using a poem by Robert Frost. I just loved it and it was so perfect for my photo of choice. I used Spring In Paris by PatinParis Designs. Bracket and letter art are from DIDM's contribution to Grateful4U collab kit. Fonts used were: Star Howard & Lucida Handwriting.
